Every pair of Luvia shoes undergoes a meticulous 200-step process taking up to 3 weeks. Discover the steps of construction that define true luxury.
1. The Leather Selection & Clicking
Only the finest full-grain calfskins from premium Tuscan tanneries are selected. The 'clicker' hand-cuts every upper piece, avoiding any natural imperfections to ensure perfect grain symmetry.
Over 40% of the hide is discarded to guarantee only the highest quality cut is used.

2. Lasting & Shaping
The upper is pulled over a custom wooden or resin last, then carefully hand-stretched and secured. The leather sits on the last for up to 10 days to memorize the elegant Luvia contour.
3. The Goodyear Welt Stitching
A strip of premium leather (the welt) is stitched directly to the upper and the rib of the insole. This classic double-stitch technique allows the sole to be completely replaced over and over again.
4. Cork Filling & Bottoming
The cavity between the insole and outsole is filled with premium natural cork paste and a steel shank. Over time, the cork molds to the unique anatomical imprint of your foot.
